Andrew’s career, working with a wide variety of scientific instruments, has given him first-hand insight into the challenges of field software—from instrument control and data quality to storage and reporting. Having also worked for an instrument manufacturer, he understands both the technology and the broader needs of operators working across multiple systems.
A conversation with Dominique Huot about a particularly challenging workflow marked the beginning of Fieldscan ONE™. Andrew’s motivation remains straightforward: identify costly gaps in real-world scientific workflows and bridge them with practical, reliable software that puts the operator/project needs at the centre.
Connecting field data to better decisions.
We develop practical software for real exploration workflows, helping teams capture, validate, visualize and share multi-instrument data — in the field and beyond.
-
Field Driven
Built with and for the people who collect the data.
-
Practical Solutions
Focus on what works in real conditions.
-
Greater Impact
Enable faster, more informed decisions across the exploration lifecycle.
Experienced. Committed. Field-focused.
Fieldscan ONE™ is guided by a shared passion for geoscience, technology and the people advancing mineral exploration.
Dominique Huot is a recognized expert in field analytical solutions for mineral exploration and mining, with more than 13 years of industry experience. A geological engineer by training, he brings a broad background in mineral exploration and mining, field analytics, spectroscopy instruments and software, business development, and operations.
As founder and CEO of Geospectra Mining Technologies, Dominique applies his knowledge of portable analytical technologies to develop integrated solutions tailored to the needs of exploration and mining operations. Together with Andrew Hillson, he helped establish Fieldscan ONE™ to address the disconnect between analytical instruments and the software workflows that operators rely on.
